Wookey Hole Caves
A wonderful day out for all the family, with many new features and attractions for 2009. Wookey Hole Caves and Papermill are situated at Wookey Hole, Wells, in the beautiful Somerset Mendip Hills, in South West England.

 


Cheddar Caves and Gorge
Throughout the rest of the year, we open at 10.30am and close at 5.00pm - however the last admission to the Caves, the Museum, the bus is 4.30pm and our Explorers Cafe-Bar closes at 4.00pm.

The Haynes Motor Museum is a charity dedicated to collecting, restoring and preserving items of motoring interest fpr public education. The exhibits are maintained in our own workshops and run in rotation. Over 380 brilliant cars and motorcycles on display!

The Wells Cathedral
The wells, which gave the city its name, are the corner stone of the development of this area from prehistoric times. The first church was established on the site in 705. Construction of the present building began in the 10th century and was largely complete at the time of its dedication in 1239. It has undergone several expansions and renovations since then and has been designated by English Heritage as a grade I listed building.
